One organization, two museums!

The Benton County Historical Society museums feature exhibitions of art and artifacts from the Society’s vast 140,000+ object-collection, which includes the former Horner Museum collection from Oregon State University.

Philomath Museum

The Philomath Museum is housed in the 1867 Philomath College Building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Here you will find temporary exhibits on regional history, and a rotation of local art shows. Our collection is housed in the Johnson Collections Center.
