The mission of Historic Beverly is to share Beverly history with everyone. In addition to a collection of nearly a million objects and documents related to Beverly and the North Shore of Massachusetts, we open our three historic properties, the Balch House, Hale Farm, and the Cabot House, and engage the community in a variety of programs.

Our collections are of national, regional and local significance, with a strong concentration on papers pertaining to the American Revolution and the maritime history of the early republic, and regional transportation history, as well as an important assortment of weapons, textiles, ceramics, furniture and paintings.
