Kitt Peak National Observatory is the home of the largest array of optical and radio telescopes in the world. In addition to conducting ground breaking astronomical research, we are open to you through our Visitor Center programs.
Kitt Peak Visitor Center coordinates are: Lat.: 31.96, Long.: -111.598. Kitt Peak National Observatory does not have a street address. It is on a mountain called Kitt Peak. We are located 56 miles (90 kilometers) southwest of central Tucson. If you are using a GPS device you can try entering “intersection of Arizona State Route 86 and Arizona State Route 386”.
