Come and visit the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville in the heart of downtown Jacksonville on Historic James Weldon Johnson Park. Our mission is to serve the community and its visitors through exhibitions, collections, educational programs, and publications designed to enhance an understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art with particular emphasis on works created from 1960 to the present. The Museum’s permanent collection includes outstanding works by regional, national, and international modern and contemporary artists such as Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, Philip Pearlstein, James Rosenquist, and Jerry Serra.  MOCA Jacksonville offers a wide range of programming including traveling exhibitions, studio art classes, lectures, concerts, films, performances, guided tours, and special events. The museum has plenty for children to explore including self-guided art activities, the Art Loft Explorium, and more.
