The Sidney Museum and Arts Association, a nonprofit organization founded in 1970, is dedicated to preserving local history and promoting arts. SMAA established and maintains the Sidney Art Gallery and the Sidney Museum located in the original Masonic Hall built in 1908 and the Log Cabin Museum built in 1914 in Port Orchard, WA.  The Sidney Art Gallery & Museum building is on the national and state historic registers.

At this time, both the Sidney Art Gallery and Museum and the Log Cabin Museum are open by appointment or when there is a volunteer available.
