Every summer from 2020 – 2024, an experimental architectural project curated by Materials & Applications (M&A) will take over the museum’s courtyard. Stay tuned for the series of immersive installations accompanied by a calendar of workshops, performances, and conversations.
“Veil Craft” is the inaugural exhibition of M&A x Craft Contemporary, featuring new work by emerging San Francisco-based architectural studio Figure. Taking inspiration from everyday construction materials in Los Angeles, the museum’s courtyard will be transformed into a temporary pocket park, layered with textiles that filter and frame the space into the interior of an unfinished site.
