This exhibition celebrates the life and artwork of Eleanor Merritt, a dedicated volunteer at The Ringling for many years who served as a docent and Board member. She also served as president of the Venice Art Center and was active in other arts organizations.
“Eleanor Merritt: Remembrance” is dedicated to the spirit and creativity of Merritt and represents a small sample of a significant body of work she created over her long career. Merritt died in 2019 leaving a legacy of artworks and public service.
