Gabrielle Torres is weaving together a painting made from donated materials on a giant handmade loom while creating portraits of Savannah locals. Gabe invites her fellow Savannahians to bring in “meaningful scraps” of fabric to donate and to share memories related to the material.
Please join Gabe, following her down a rabbit hole of conversation and creation. The connections and donations made to this project will influence the paintings and installation, and will also allow the community an opportunity to connect in a unique way.
