“Gulf Coast Vietnamese Narratives: A Story of Refuge and Resilience” shares the journeys of the men, women and children from the Fall of Saigon in 1975, to their settling on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Through hard work and perseverance, the immigrants were able to adapt, assimilate, and become a part of the rich tapestry of diverse cultures and heritages that have formed the Gulf Coast’s Seafood Industry since the late 1800s. Their stories are shared through this captivating collection of artifacts, images, and narratives displayed in the Museum’s Joe Moran Gallery.
