Artist Ana María Hernando blurs the line between artist and viewer in “Handle with Freedom,” BMoCA’s Spring 2021 Present Box exhibition. Guest curated by Ellen Bruss, this lighthearted, playful exhibition loosens the constraints around how we experience art and museum exhibitions. Hernando hands over control of the piece and invites spectators to become creators in a collaborative art-making experience.
