Julio Galán is one of the most prominent artists of the 1980s whose work has been recognized on the contemporary global stage.This review highlights the way in which the artist represents himself beyond the pictorial, reaching performance. It is one of the first in the country to address gender issues. “A rabbit split in half” comes from the Tamayo Museum. In MARCO, its second headquarters, it will be on view until Sunday, September 10, 2023.
