Welcome to the Belknap Mill Museum, a unique piece of New Hampshire’s industrial heritage!

The Belknap Mill is the oldest largely unaltered brick textile mill in the United States, a rare example of early industrialization. Originally a weaving mill, it transitioned to knitting during the Civil War and operated as a hosiery mill until 1969. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as New Hampshire’s Official Meetinghouse, the Belknap Mill serves as a hub for history, education, and the arts.
