The Bidwell House Museum, set in the Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts, is an elegant Georgian saltbox originally built circa 1760 as a parsonage. Authentically restored, filled with antiques, and surrounded by 192 acres of beautiful grounds and hiking trails, the Museum tells the story of life in the 18th century Berkshires.
The Museum is open spring through fall, offering guided tours by appointment only. The gardens and grounds are open to the public at no charge, year-round from dawn until dusk, and there are a number of self-guided tours available: maps can be found on the website or at the parking kiosk.
