The Greene County Historical Society was established in 1929 and received it’s official charter from the University of NY in 1939. The Society operates the Bronck Museum and the Vedder Research Library:
The Bronck Museum
The Bronck Museum complex includes the eleven remaining structures that once comprised the Bronck family farm.
Vedder Research Library
This non-circulating research center makes available to Society members and the general public a wide range of primary and secondary resource material depicting the historical development of Greene County.
