The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, founded in 1964, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting our region’s water, land, wildlife, and future. Through a combination of environmental policy and advocacy, science and research, wildlife rehabilitation, and environmental education, we work to safeguard the unique ecosystems of Southwest Florida. Our mission—“to protect Southwest Florida’s water, land, wildlife, and future”—guides all that we do as we respond to the growing challenges of development, habitat loss, and climate impacts. The Conservancy is committed to ensuring a healthy, sustainable environment for generations to come.
