Muskegon Historic Sites (formerly Hackley & Hume Historic Site)
Visit the Queen Anne-style Victorian homes of Muskegon Lumber Barons Charles Hackley and Thomas Hume. The Hackley House, interpreted to 1890, shows what life was like for one of Muskegon’s most well-known citizens. The Hume House, interpreted to 1920, shows the life of a wealthy family after the lumbering era. Inside The City Barn, you’ll find more exhibit space as well as a gift shop.
