One of approximately 300 single-artist museums worldwide, Museo Benini was established in 2015 to share the evolution of Benini’s work since the late 1950s. Museo Benini (Italian for museum, pronounced muse-a-oh) – 6500 sq.ft. galleries showcase Superroses of the 70’s, the surrealistic works of the 80’s, the geometrics of the 90’s, and recent works of a more abstract nature. The project also includes a fine arts research library, archives and 60+ outdoor sculptures. Guests are welcome to tour the sculpture trail featuring the museum collection of sculpture by international artists. Italian-born Benini’s paintings and sculpture have been exhibited in 163 mostly solo international exhibitions, finding their permanent home on a 35 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country.
