Discover the rich history of the Coeur d’Alene Region. The Museum showcases the history of Kootenai, Benewah and Shoshone counties. The history of logging, steamboats, roads, railroads, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Spokane Flood, Forest Service, military, mining, labor, and communities is presented. In the theatre room watch a 20-minute presentation Portraits of Coeur d’Alene. A feature exhibit is presented every season. A free one-hour parking pass can be requested at the Museum desk.

The exhibit hall is open April 1 to October 31. Other programs and services such as the research library and book purchases are available by appointment year round.
