The National Hispanic Cultural Center’s (NHCC) Art Museum and Visual Arts Program’s collection now includes about 2,000 accessioned objects and some 600 promised gifts, and continues to grow. The visual arts staff works to collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and interpret Latino works of art from throughout the world.
The NHCC was recently recognized during New Mexico’s 2018 legislative session for becoming the most visited Hispanic or Latino cultural institution in the United States. The National Hispanic Cultural Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities.
