Founded in 1969 with a generous gift of 300 works from Roy R. Neuberger, a pioneering philanthropist and arts advocate, our collection has expanded to nearly 7,000 objects. Here, you’ll encounter masterpieces by renowned artists like Milton Avery, Romare Bearden, Willem de Kooning, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe, Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, Faith Ringgold, and Andy Warhol, to name just a few.
