The Robidoux Row Museum is the active branch of the Saint Joseph Historical Society. Robidoux Row was constructed over a 10-year time frame – from the 1840s to the 1850s. The building was the home of Joseph Robidoux, founder of Saint Joseph in his later years. The museum covers the early history of Saint Joseph through the Victorian Era celebrating Saint Joseph’s status as one of the jumping-off points for the Oregon, California, and Santa Fe Trails. The Museum also contains rooms designed to immerse guests into the feel of being in the 1840s and preparing to go west. Multiple rotating exhibits keep the stories new and fresh while giving guests new experiences every time they come through the door.
