The Springville Museum of Art is one of Utah’s oldest arts institutions and a museum deeply rooted in its community. With a Permanent Collection established in 1903 through the vision and generosity of early Utah artists Cyrus E. Dallin and John Hafen, the Museum has long served as a cultural and educational center where art is accessible to all.
Dedicated in 1937 as a “sanctuary of beauty and a temple of contemplation,” the Museum now stewards a permanent collection of over 2,700 works, with notable strengths in Utah art, American art, and twentieth-century Soviet Realism. The Museum presents more than fifteen exhibitions annually across 29 galleries and sculpture gardens, offering opportunities for reflection, learning, and connection with original works of art.
Our mission is to strengthen communities by offering life-affirming art and experiences that foster beauty, contemplation, and connection.
