Located just off Interstate 80 and accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, Stuhr Museum gives visitors a chance to step back in time and explore the collective human experience of community building along the Platte River Valley. Stuhr Museum opened to the public in 1967 and has since become a destination for families and friends to come together through the shared interests of history, culture, and education.

Open year-round, the Leo B. Stuhr Building houses a variety of beautifully curated exhibits. Visitors can learn about the Pawnee, the original inhabitants of the land, and the stories of the diverse cultures that have since also called this place home. From May-September each year, Railroad Town offers visitors an immersive living history experience, where they can interact with costumed living historians and try their hand at a number of hands-on activities while they learn about the past.
