The Smithgall Arts Center (part of the Arts Council) is located in a beautifully restored 1914 railroad depot, one of Gainesville’s most cherished historic properties.

Our Atrium Gallery features rotating art exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing local and regional artists and providing the community with opportunities to experience the arts in a welcoming, historic setting.

All exhibitions are free and open to the public, supporting our commitment to making the arts accessible to everyone in Northeast Georgia.
