The Gardens at Heather Farm is a 6.5-acre non-profit public garden. The garden serves as a demonstration of plants, shrubs and trees that thrive in the San Francisco East Bay’s summer-dry climate. It also provides a living classroom for our adult and children’s education programs. Enjoy a leisurely stroll on our paths through the garden. Visit the Robert Cowden Rose Garden and be amazed by over 1000 roses in a profusion of blooms. Picnic on the Meadow Lawn. Let the kiddos crawl through the Hobbit Tunnel in the Children’s Garden. Enjoy birdwatching over 45 species of birds who call The Gardens home. Sitting alongside a natural lake and the 125-acre Heather Farm Park, there is a lot to see and do on a visit to The Gardens at Heather Farm.
