Located on the Historic Georgetown Square, the Williamson Museum was founded as a 501(c)(3) in 1997, and first opened its doors to the 1911 Farmers State Bank in December 2003. The museum’s mission is to promote the culture and heritage of Williamson County through education, preservation, acquisition, and exhibition.

Visit the museum to observe and learn about the local history of Williamson County, which often expands past its border and is at the root of Texas history.
