The Truro Historical Society runs the Highland House Museum and the Cobb Archive in Truro, Massachusetts. The Museum is housed in a former hotel in the Highland Historic District, and our collection includes permanent exhibitions on Cape Cod shipwrecks, the salt and fishing industries, and everyday domestic life in the 1800s and 1900s. We also have an impressive collection of artwork, created by 20th century artists who have spent summers living on the Outer Cape. Every summer we install temporary exhibitions.

The Museum is open from June 1st through September 30th, and the Cobb Archive is open year-round on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM-12 PM.
