The Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) is a place for all communities to learn more about the history, art, and culture of people of African descent. We produce enriching and thought-provoking exhibitions and public programs that foster lifelong learning. The Museum is housed in the historic Colman School building located in the heart of the Central District just above the I-90 lid overlooking Jimi Hendrix Park and majestic Mt. Rainier.
