Frederic Remington Art Museum
Ogdensburg, New York
The selection of works featured in the Addie P. Newell Gallery features portraits and landscapes by Frederic Remington, in a wide variety of mediums and styles. On display are paintings in watercolor and oil, ink washes, pencil and pen and ink drawings, and a number of sketches. With gestural watercolors, intimate portraits, plein air sketches, and vivid impressionist brushwork, the exhibit highlights lesser-known facets of Remington’s work. Curated by Rich Fedorchak.
