Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before subscribing to the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association® LLC (hereinafter referred to as “NARM, LLC”) newsletter, or using the NARM website and/or mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) operated by NARM, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “us”, “we” or “our”).
NARM provides a free directory and map services to people who wish to find NARM member cultural institutions across North America. By using this website you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
IF ANY OF THESE TERMS OR ANY FUTURE CHANGES ARE UNACCEPTABLE TO YOU, YOU AGREE TO DISCONTINUE FURTHER USE OF THE NARM, LLC NEWSLETTER OR NARMASSOCIATION.ORG. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE WEBSITE NOW, OR FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF NOTICE OF ANY CHANGES IN THESE OPERATING RULES, WILL INDICATE ACCEPTANCE BY YOU OF SUCH TERMS, CHANGES, OR MODIFICATIONS.
From time to time, narmassociation.org may employ cookies to gather and aggregate anonymous information about how NARM Users are using the website so that we can identify opportunities for improvement.

NARM, LLC has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any such third-party websites, resources, or services.

Users should direct any concerns regarding any external link to the site administrator or Webmaster of such site.
4. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
Although NARM strives to provide complete and accurate information about the cultural institutions across the United States, NARM cannot guarantee that all information on the website is complete and accurate. Before finalizing plans to visit an institution, Users should contact the institution to confirm that the information they learned is accurate.
NARM does not guarantee the quality of any information displayed, uploaded, or distributed by any User, information provider or any other person or entity. You acknowledge that any reliance upon any such information shall be at your sole risk.
5. COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN NARM AND ITS USERS
NARM reserves the right to send electronic mail to you for the purpose of informing you of changes or additions to the Service.
As a result of your Registration as a User on the NARM website, you will have opted to receive the NARM electronic newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time, without affecting your User Registration and access to the NARM website.
NARM may contact you via e-mail regarding your participation in User surveys, asking for feedback on the Web site and existing or prospective products and services. This information will be used to improve our Web site and better understand our Users, and any information we obtain in such surveys will not be shared with third parties, except in aggregate form.
6. CHANGES TO TERMS
NARM reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will post such changes on the Services, or send the update to you via e-mail if you have registered on the NARM website and provided us with a current email address.
7. LEGAL JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with South Carolina law. Any action to enforce this agreement shall be brought in the federal or state courts located in South Carolina. Correspondence should be sent to [email protected]
You agree to report any copyright violations of the General Terms of Service Agreement to NARM as soon as you become aware of them. NARM will immediately remove the image, statement, or any other element that you believe to be in violation of copyright law. In the event you have a claim of copyright infringement with respect to material that is contained on the Web service, please notify [email protected]

The basic functionality of narmassociation.org is available without the User being asked to register. Site Users who want to use personalizing features (such as customizing their profile) are required to register in order to do so.
User Registration entails providing, at a minimum, the User’s current e-mail address. Users may optionally provide additional personal information in such designated fields that may exist on the Registration Form. This information is collectively referred as User Information.

Use of Registration and Engagement Information
Narmassociation.org may perform statistical analysis of User behavior in order to measure user engagement in the various areas of the site. In this statistical analysis, information may be disclosed to third parties, but only in aggregate form.
Security of Users’ Personal Information
NARM, LLC takes the security and integrity of Users’ personal information seriously. Narmassociation.org applies industry-standard security measures to ensure that our Users’ personal information is protected. However, we cannot guarantee that this information will not be stolen.
Passwords to access data at narmassociation.org are only available to personnel trained and contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of e-mail addresses and any other information about our Users.
No personal information submitted by Users is used for any purpose other than the reason stated above. Furthermore, no personal information is ever distributed outside of NARM, LLC for any purpose.
