“Wolves: The Art of Dempsey Bob” offers visitors a personal encounter with one of the leading carvers of British Columbia’s Northwest Coast and an immersive experience of the Tahltan and Tlingit mainland cultures.
The show surveys the artist’s development from his early days as a student of legendary female carver Freda Diesing to his late career masterworks, which advance carving traditions in the 21st century.
This exhibition was co-organized by the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and Audain Art Museum and Co-Curated by Curtis Collins and Sarah Milroy.
