Curated by Sheehan Gallery Director Kynde Kiefel, “You Are Here”, the mixed-media exhibit now on display at Tamástslikt Cultural Institute was created to support a Whitman College course on Indigenous aesthetics and explores themes related to place and identity. The works on display explore themes related to place and identity and draw from personal and collective histories and memories. Many of the artists exhibited have personal connections to indigeneity and draw from personal and collective histories and memories.
