Presented in celebration of Houston Center for Contemporary Craft’s 25th “silver” anniversary, “A Material Inheritance” examines silver as material and metaphor. The most reflective element on Earth, silver has transformed the ways in which humans perceive, record, and understand the world. It is the material through which cultures have learned to see and remember themselves.
