Larry Richardson is an artist-naturalist-author who grew up in Western Kentucky, captivated by the outdoor opportunities of his surrounding rural environment. The nearby Cumberland River was prominent in local lore and recreation.

Richardson’s love of the outdoors led to a career as a naturalist and wildlife professional, as well as an interest in wildlife art. After retiring from Ducks Unlimited, he continued his art education and began marketing his own paintings. Richardson is a native of Christian County, Kentucky, and now resides in Clarksville, Tennessee.
