“Anima: The Essence of Blacknuss” is a community companion show to the exhibition “Black Is Beautiful: The Photography of Kwame Brathwaite” and features the photography of Columbia creative Dalvin “Mustafa” Spann, a multimedia artist working in graphic design, music, fine art, and photography. This exhibition features 10 color and black-and-white images that offer elegant visual narratives around identity-building and cross-cultural references.
