“CommUnity Ignition” aims to enliven the museum culture that tells us to stand back, be quiet, and look. The disability arts community brings thoughtfulness and joy to exploring the ways that people experience art and the ways that we rely on each other. Many artists find inspiration and meaning through interdependence, exemplifying the importance of community among all artists across disciplines and throughout history.
