Dan Flavin is a key figure of North American minimalism, a pioneer in the use of fluorescent light as an artistic material, raising new aesthetic possibilities through its use. This is the first exhibition in Mexico dedicated to Flavin, where the public will have the opportunity to live a visual and sensory experience through the light and color of the works.

The exhibition collects 24 of Flavin’s most notable works, created between 1962 and 1974, from the Dia Art Foundation Collection (est. 1974), under the curatorship of Humberto Moro, director of the institution’s program. It includes his early works using light and the series he developed over several years.
