Good Vibrations
On view through August 10, 2024
Sulfur Studios /ARTS Southeast
Savannah, Georgia

“Where I come from we say that rhythm is the soul of life, because the whole universe revolves around rhythm, and when we get out of rhythm, that’s when we get into trouble.” – Babatunde Olatunji; drummer, educator, social activist and recording artist.

Rhythm surrounds us – sometimes coursing just under the surface of our daily existence, at other times bursting into the forefront through music, dance, and other art forms. Visual art has a unique capacity to evoke rhythm even when static. For this ARTS Southeast Supporter Call for Entry Exhibition, artists were invited to share good vibrations through photography, painting, printmaking, mixed media and more.
