The National Buffalo Museum presents “I AM BISON,” a solo show created for the space by Virginia based conceptual and visual sculptor and fiber artist Patty Swygert. Patty has created over 30 two- and three- dimensional pieces celebrating the iconic National Mammal. Using a variety of materials and techniques, the works explore not only the bison’s majesty, but the peaks and lows in population, and recent restoration efforts.
