“Magic + Migration: Nature in Contemporary Glass” is a nod to Chihuly’s ongoing interest and exploration of themes surrounding the natural world. Chihuly’s view of glass as a magical material, transforming from the common element of sand into luminous, flowing forms through fire, inspires the works in the show. The seven artists in this exhibition use images of fish, birds and wildlife to convey deeper meanings related to mankind and our relationship to the world around us.

Featured Artists include Robin Grebe (Cape Cod, MA), Richard Jolley (Knoxville, TN), Crista Matteson (Seattle, WA), Duncan McClellan (St. Petersburg, FL), Naoko Takenouchi (Vancouver, BC), Stephanie Trenchard (Sturgeon Bay, WI), and Hiroshi (Yamano, Japan). All artwork appears courtesy of Duncan McClellan Gallery.
