The quilt Suffragist Sampler was produced by member Mary Ruden to celebrate the Suffrage Centennial. The quilt is in the women’s suffrage theme and marks the Centennial anniversary of 2020. It displays twelve women instrumental to the cause, all with a Tennessee link. The colors that represented the movement are yellow and purple; yellow roses symbolize being in favor of the 19th Amendment.
