Sandra Fitzsimmons lives and paints in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and paints in her sun-filled loft studio overlooking a lush lagoon.
Fitzsimmons writes “Storytelling is deeply ingrained in the Southern culture and telling my stories through painting is as natural to me as sunrise and sunset. My paintings are deeply connected to my childhood in the Deep South – experiences in the natural world around me – summers on Jekyll, Sapelo, and Sea Island, trips to Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, oystering in the Calibogue Sound. “
