On Paper: Gifts from Paula and Leonard Granoff

For 40 years Paula and Leonard Granoff have supported the RISD Museum through gifts ranging from 18th-century Japanese woodblock prints to contemporary fashion and art. This exhibition celebrates a collection of 26 contemporary works on paper built through their gifts, including an endowment the Granoffs created in 1987 to fund the purchase of contemporary drawings. These works highlight the wide range of approaches to drawing, primarily during the past 20 years. More than half are on public display for the first time.
