This colorful exhibition presents a body of mixed-media work that considers the passage of time and the cycles of the seasons within the changing natural world. The works combine painting, drawing, collage, and assemblage sculpture, using printed matter, vintage hand-embellished textiles, fabric, and found objects. Through colorful imagery, layered compositions and contradictory elements, Viscardi reveals a subtle humor and subversive undercurrent, giving the work an enigmatic yet playful tone.
