The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum exhibit “Scenes Along the Sound” reveals the reminiscent perspectives of Mississippi artists, Pete Melby and Sam DePew.
Through his watercolors, pen and ink sketches and tile art, professor, artist and author, Dr. Melby offers past and present images and scenes that exemplify the heritage and culture of the Mississippi Coastline.
Master Model Boat Builder, Sam DePew’s, painstaking attention to detail captures the beauty and magnificence of the vessels that have graced the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi’s Sound.
