Christopher Pekoc finds beauty in the scars that are accumulated as we travel through life. Using photographic processes combined with acetate, shellac, and mixed media, the collages are compelling and disconcerting at the same time. Stitched and sewn pieces serve as metaphors for human connections. Accompanying the art is an award-winning film on the artist and his process.
