“tierra” at Craft Contemporary is a group exhibition that explores the many meanings of “tierra” – earth, land, homeland, memory, and ancestry through works by Latinx, Indigenous, and Black artists. Part of the museum’s Clay Biennial series, the exhibition expands beyond traditional ceramics to include broader earth- and land-based practices rooted in care, labor, kinship, and cultural memory.
